Koova was built from more than three decades of dedication to the bicycle industry. Founded by XuPing Fan, who has worked in cycling manufacturing since 1994, Koova carries deep experience from OEM production, component engineering, and long-term product development.

From early work with international bicycle factories serving the U.S., Australia, and Europe, to years spent developing handlebars, stems, seatposts, pedals, and hubs for global brands, every stage helped shape Koova’s understanding of what riders truly value — reliability, precision, and riding feel.

In 2011, Koova introduced its first full-bearing pedals, followed by the development of its hub systems. Since then, the brand has continuously refined its hub structures through multiple generations of engineering and real-world riding feedback. From the 9 series to the current 75T ratchet system, every evolution reflects years of testing, improvement, and persistence.

Today, Koova hubs are recognized by riders across Southeast Asia, Latin America, and beyond — not because of marketing alone, but because of performance riders can genuinely feel on the trail.
